  • 1. Why does NINETYGO luggage cost so much less?
     We balances aesthetics and functionality, which allows the company to keep their products more affordable. There are no superfluous design patterns or added weight to NINETYGO's products - just simple and superior materials that stand the test of travel and time.
    
     Our direct manufacturing and supplier partnerships, are key to delivering value; cutting out the need for a middle-man supply chain system, which often raise costs for consumers. 
    
    Made from top-of-the-line polycarbonate, scratch-free aluminum alloy from industry-leading suppliers, and consisting of whisper-silent dual bearing spinners, aluminum telescoping handle, integrated TSA approved locks, among other things, we are simply the best product on the market.

    We only partner with the best suppliers in their fields, and we have full control over the final product. We are able to do this because we manufacture NINETYGO luggages ourselves and sell directly to you! So let's go make a dent in the universe, but never on the luggage!
  • 2. How do I set the lock on my polycarbonate or nylon suitcase?
    The lock's initial password is 0-0-0. It is recommended that the user reset a personal password.
    
    The steps are as follows:
    
    1. Set the lock to the "on" state (initial password is 0-0-0);
    
    2. Use a pen (or other tool) to adjust the password setting switch (A) until it emits a "tick" sound;
    
    3. Turn the three numerical password devices (B) and set personal password (e.g. 8-8-8)
    
    4. Push the button (C) in the direction of the arrow until you hear a "tick" sound again; password setting switch (A) is ejected and the lock is at the "on" state.
    Now, the steps for setting the personal password are completed. lf you need to reset the password, repeat steps 1-4.          
    
    Special notes: If the user forgets the password they set, the password cannot be reset, the password lock cannot be opened, and the suitcase similarly cannot be opened. Therefore, be sure to remember your personal password!
  • 3. How do I set the lock on my Aluminum Edition suitcase?
    Here's how to set the TSA lock:
    
    1. Unlock: Rotate the dials to your personal code, and press button (c) to unlock.
    2. Lock: Press the TSA lock and rotate the dials to a random number to lock it.
    3. The initial password of the lock is set to be 0-0-0. It is recommended to reset a personal code in the following steps:
      3.1 Set it unlocked (the initial code is 0-0-0).
      3.2 Use the tip of a pen or a tool to press the code button (a) until you hear a click.
      3.3 Rotate all three dials (b) to set your personal code (such as 8-8-8).
      3.4 Push the button (c) in the direction of the arrow until you hear a click, to make the code button (a) pop out. The lock is unlocked now.
      The process of setting a personal code has been completed. Repeat steps 3.1 to 3.4 if you need to reset the code again.
    4. The lock cannot be reset nor opened without the personal code. Please remember the personal code you have set!
  • 4. Is NINETYGO luggage waterproof?
    NINETYGO luggage is splash-proof and do well against light rain, but do not leave your luggage outdoors for an extended period of time in heavy rain. Simply put, NINETYGO luggage is water-resistant but not 100% waterproof. 
    Please wipe it down with a dry towel when you get a chance if your luggage gets wet, prolonged exposure to moisture is never a good thing so don't go swimming with NINETYGO! 
    
  • 5. Are the laundry bags in NINETYGO luggages waterproof?
    Our Aluminum Edition and Manhattan Series are equipped with laundry bags that are made from a water-resistant nylon. While they do a great job at keeping your clean clothes separate from your dirty ones, they aren't 100% waterproof (so you might not want to put fresh-out-of-the-pool bathing suits in there).
  • 6. How should I clean my NINETYGO luggage?
    All of our products are easy to clean! Read more on how to clean each of our products here: ninetygo.us/care.
    
    You should always clean your luggage inside and out after each trip and address all potential problems as soon as you notice them, i.e. fix loose screws, lubricate stiff telescoping handles, etc. How you store your bag between trips also affects the look and endurance of your luggage. For the best effect, follow these simple steps.     
    
    1. Make sure your luggage is completely dry, both inside and out, before storing it away.
    
    2. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the luggage exterior. 
    
    3. Hand wash it with mild soap if your luggage gets very dirty.  
    
    4. Don't use bleach or other strong detergents. 
    
    5. Use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe both the external and internal area, i.e. don't use stiff brushes or something that may hurt the fabric. 
    
    6. Remove all content from the bag after each trip and vacuum the inside of the bag.
    
    7. Leave all pockets unzipped, i.e. to air dry them.
    
    8. Putting vinegar in the water you use to clean the interior or leaving a piece of activated charcoal can help with unwanted smells.
    
    9. Remove luggage stains with traditional fabric/laundry stain removers or instant stain removers.
    
    10. Address any potential luggage problems as soon as you notice them.
    
    11. Store your luggage inside the house and cover your luggage to keep off the dust.
    
    12. Place fabric softener sheets or unused soap bar in the luggage to make it smell fresh for the next time you use it.
  • 7. Which NINETYGO carry-on fits with airline regulations?
    All of our carry-ons are compliant with airline luggage policies. Our suitcases do come in different sizes, however, so their dimensions are as follows:
    
    For the Manhattan Series, the 20" measures 21.65×14.96×8.86 inches; the 24" measures 26.65×17.72×10.24 inches; the 28" measures 30.71×20.47×11.42 inches.
    
    The Hatch for laptop only comes in the 20" and measures 22.01×14.57×9.06 inches.
    
    The Aluminum Edition only comes in the 20" and measures 21.65×14.76×8.46 inches.
    
    For the Essential Seven series, the 20" measures 21.46×15.35×8.46 inches; the 21" measures 21.46×14.96×9.84 inches; the 24" measures 25.39×18.11×10.04 inches; the 28" measures 30.51×20.27×11.42 inches.
    
    Rest easy, we've been doing this for a while; we know what we are dealing with.
  • 8. What's the difference between the Hatch for laptop luggage and other carry-ons?
    NINETYGO carry-ons are all hardshell models made from either polycarbonate or aluminum alloy. The front pocket on the Hatch for laptop carry-on is made from a durable oxford fabric that provides impact-resistant cushioning for your gadgets while providing easy access for retrieval. It's an ideal solution for a trip when a laptop is needed.
  • 9. Which suitcases can be stored within each other?
    Any of our luggages can fit neatly inside of The Medium or The Large for easy storage. The Medium also nests inside of The Large, so you can easily stow up to three suitcases when you're not on the road.

  • 1. Do your luggages have a warranty?
    NINETYGO Limited Five-Year Warranty Policy
    
    NINETYGO believes millennials deserve better travel experience. That's why we go extra miles to bring the cutting-edge technology to life. This Five-Year Limited Warranty is provided by NINETYGO to you as the original purchaser of the NINETYGO-branded luggage you purchased (the "product"). The warranty provided for herein applies only to the first purchaser or gift recipient of the product for a period of five years starting from the date this product was purchased.
    
    Quality Assurance
    NINETYGO warrants the Luggage in its original packaging sold to you against the defects in material and workmanship, when the Luggage is used normally for its intended purposes. Before we offer any product for sale, it is put through rigorous tests of strength, durability, and dependability that represent the environmental demands of frequent travelers.
    
    This limited warranty does not cover problems with your product caused by normal wear and tear; abuse or misuse; cosmetic damage or cleaning; damage or loss caused by an airline; or incidental or consequential damages, including damage to or loss of the contents of a bag, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses. This limited warranty is not transferable to any subsequent purchaser or recipient of the product.
    
    For warranty repair evaluation, your product will need to be evaluated by our After-sales Repair Center. Please note any shipping costs to the repair center will be your responsibility. The After-sales Repair Center will make the final determination on the status of the product with the possible following outcomes:
     If the product is repairable and covered under warranty, the product will be repaired at NINETYGO's expense and returned to you.
     If the product is not repairable and is covered under warranty, you will be contacted in regards to receiving a comparable warranty replacement at no cost to you.
     If the product is repairable and not covered under warranty, you may either have the product returned to you un-repaired, or have the product repaired at your own expense. This will be communicated to you by the After-sales Repair Center.
    
    If the product is not repairable and not covered under warranty, you can elect to have the After-sales Repair Center send the product back to you un-repaired, or you may ask the After-sales Repair Center to dispose of the product. This will be communicated to you by the After-sales Repair Center.
    
    This warranty is intended to give you specific legal rights. In addition to the rights described herein, you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or country to country with respect to the exclusion or application of implied warranties, incidental and consequential damages and repair and replacement.

Shipping & Returns

  • 1. How much does shipping cost?
    We offer free FedEx Ground on all orders shipping to the contiguous US. 
    But there are a few faster options too: 
    
    Suitcases (per unit): 
    To the contiguous US: free! 
    To Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico: 
    20inch: $20
    24inch: $30
    28inch: $40
    
    Faster: 
    Faster delivery options are available. Extra charges will be applied depending on the size of your suitcases and the delivery location.
  • 2. Do you offer free trials?
    This is what we mean by free trial. 
    
    When you make a purchase from NINETYGO, starting from that very day, you'll have the next 30 days to see if the NINETYGO product you purchased is right for you. What we mean is that you should take it with you to go visit your parents (even if they live right next door, act like you just came back from the airport), your high school friends who don't live in the same city as you (or go visit your ex and show her how you're living), to that vacation spot that you've been dying to go to and, yes, even on that business trip with your boss. If taking NINETYGO with you didn't improve your travel experience in some way, then you can return it to us for a full refund or exchange it for another NINETYGO product until you find the one that works for you. You'll only have to be responsible for the cost of shipping, we'll take care of the rest.
  • 3. What's your return/exchange policy?
    If you decide that your new NINETYGO product isn't for you, you can return or exchange it any time within 30 days of your purchase—period. Get in touch with our customer support and we'll take care of the rest. 
    
    Please note that the 30-day trial period does not start over if you exchange your item. If you end up returning your order, you'll only have the remainder of your original 30-day trial to do so. Keep in mind that we do not offer refunds for shipping fees, so if you originally selected expedited shipping for your order, you will only be refunded the cost of the item(s) you return. 
  • 4. Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
    Sorry, we are unable to deliver to a P.O. Box address.
  • 4. Can I cancel or change an order after I've placed it?
    Our team moves quickly to get your order shipped out ASAP, which means that we aren't able to make any changes to an order once it's been placed.

    The short answer is "Sorry, but no." 
    
    The long answer is "We do not offer customization pre-sale because NINETYGO is committed to offering the absolute best quality and design for the best value. Meaning we have to accomodate the inhibitions of our numbers people, as personalized products introduces variables into the equation that means a more expensive product for you. We also want you to be able to enjoy our warranty to its fullest extent. But we should note that NINETYGO products are the culmination of creative input from award-winning designers that are open to interpretation and impromptu collaboration, so post-sale customization (which will affect your ability to enjoy our warranty) is welcomed!"
